A number of partnership initiatives were singled out in the course of the meeting; these initiatives are directed towards the development of vocational education and internationalization of educational institutions. The issue of establishing joint educational institution in Adjara Region based on information sharing on Georgian vocational education system and German dual education systems was also highlighted.
Ketevan Natriashvili introduced legal and educational aspects connected with the process of establishing German-Georgian vocational institution to the German expert. Lipsdorf presented his view regarding the issue and talked about the stages of education in details, about free training and employment of pupils in Germany (paid, for limited period up to 3-6 months, maximum a year), interest of the EU member countries in the abovementioned project and strengthening of education for this reason (not only in German language but also in Russian and English).
Language Center of Shota Rustaveli State University and Cottbus Technical University will be involved in the project. Ketevan Natriashvili expressed readiness in regard to teachers training and involvement of other institutions in the project, as many companies are interested in staff training in Germany.
