Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze and Minister of Research and Science of Upper-Austria Doris Hammer signed a memorandum and expressed their readiness to deepen partnership in science and higher education.

Direct contacts will be established under this agreement between the higher education and research institutions, combined educational programs shall be implemented, the parties shall exchange experience and knowledge in science and technical fields between the universities and research centers.

President of Upper Austria Applied Science University Dr. Gerald Reizenger and President of Caucasus University Kakha Shengelia signed a memorandum establishing a new university in Georgia - “Upper Austrian Applied Science University in the Caucasus”. This will be a joint project of Caucasus University and Austrian Applied Science University.

There will be three modules: engineering automatics, electronic engineering and civil and construction engineering. Caucasus University will provide technical assistance in the process.
