The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia announces registration of the first-graders with for the school year 2014-2015.

Registration process will be carried out in 3 stages.

Stage I - Registration begins on April 23 and ends on May 2, 2014.

Registration will be carried out only for those pupils whose:

• siblings go to the same school
• parents teach in the same school
• families have  two or more children entering the first grade

Submission of necessary documents will be carried out from May 5 to May 15, 2014.

Stage II – Online registration - Registration begins on May 20 and ends on June 20, 2014.

Registration will be possible on the EMIS (Education Management Information System) website.

Submission of necessary documents will be carried out from June 23 to July 4, 2014.

Stage III - Registration begins on July 10 and ends on July 18, 2014.

If necessary documents are not timely submitted, vacant places shall be filled registering those pupils who were unable to register during the stages I and II. They will be required to submit necessary documents.

Persons who shall be 6 years old before January 1, 2015 or persons who attended preparatory classes of general education elementary level  during the school year 2013-3014  and who will be 5 years old before the beginning of the school year 2014-2015 are eligible to enter elementary level of general education for the year 2014-2015.
