Meeting with the management of the Millennium Challenge Corporation of US
The Minister of
Education and Science of Georgia, Tamar Sanikidze, met with the managerial team
of Millennium Challenge Corporation of the US. The delegation is visiting
Georgia with the second grant of 140 million of dollars, for the examination of
educational projects envisaged by the Compact.
During a meeting with the Minister, parties were talking about importance of the investment of US government, which is aimed at strengthening of educational quality in Georgia in the spheres of technologies, engineering and natural sciences, in the sector of professional and higher education. At the meeting activities planned in 2015 were discussed. Compact is the largest investment in the sector of education of Georgia. It is carried out by the Millennium Challenge Foundation in Georgia.
