The pretest for 11^th graders is on June 16 and final exam is on June 17. 11^th graders from “School of Tomorrow”, who were affected by the disaster, are writing their exams at Tbilisi N55 public school.

Final exams on June 17 will start simultaneously at 9:00 in 1600 schools with the exam in geography. More than 41 thousand students are registered for the exams.

Students will take exams in four subjects (geography, physics, biology, chemistry). Teaching of these subjects is finished in the 11^th grade. Final exams will be conducted in each obligatory subjects established by the National Educational Plan. Those students who cannot get the passing score in one of the subjects (or cannot come on the exam), will have a chance to pass the exam in same subject at the end of the 12^th grade with the other 4 exams (Georgian language and literature, foreign language, math, history).

The finals are PC based exams, which are conducted by using new Georgian model of tests adapted for a computer (Gcat). Georgian version of the test- algorithm and software, which is customized for capabilities of a student, was created in the National Assessment and Examinations Center. For the maximum security of the system, a special program so called Gcat browser was implemented. It provides full security of tests and reduces computer’s standard features. The system selects each following question according to the answers of a student until it determines full knowledge and skills of a student.
