The members of the Georgian informatics team (4 players) from the 27th International Informatics Olympiad (IOI 2015 Almaty, Kazakhstan July 26-August 2) returned with 4 medals. All four participants won a bronze medal. With this result and according to the total number of points Georgia was among 30 the bests from 84 participant countries and overrun many major industrialized countries. There were two newcomers in the team. One participant, a ninth grader, Giorgi Kldiashvili competed for the first time in two two Olympics Math and IT and won two bronze medals. In addition, Helen Machaidze, who took part in a high-level international Olympic won her 5th medal and she stands out not only in Georgia but in the whole world. Finally with this result and according to the total number of points Georgia was among 30 the bests from 84 participant countries and overrun many major industrialized countries.

Our student’s suitebly rival representatives of the world's 100 countries in various international Olympiads. Their success is led by their high level of education which provides Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. The studenst are trained by the high qualified experts (coaches) with the program established by the International Olympic Committee. The Ministry of Education and Science fully funds the students’ selection participation in the Olimpics.
