The US Peace Corps in Georgia invites motivated public schools for cooperation with the Peace Corps education program. Peace Corps Volunteers during last fifteen years has been successfully implementing education projects in different regions of Georgia. In order to improve English language teaching level and learning practices the selected schools will work with American English teachers in 2016-2018 academic years.
The competition is opened to the public schools in the following areas: Kakheti (except the north district), Mtskheta (except Stephantsminda), Qvemoqartli, Shidakartli, Javakheti, Ajaria, Guria, Imereti, Samegrelo, Racha and the lower region of Svaneti. From the villages and cities, which are located 5 km from the administrative border zone, applications will not be considered.
If your school is in one of the region listed above, English language teaching time is 24 hours and you are interested in collaboration with the volunteer teacher in 2016-2018 academic years Read the Information Supplement, keep it in the school, fill out the application form provide it with the statement from the host family at the Peace Corps office in 29 Chavchavadze Avenue, Tbilisi, 0160, or send it on the e-mail address education@ge.peacecorps.gov
