The events in honor of the creative work of Vazha Pshavela continue. Today, pupils participating in the School Theatre Festival arrived in the native village Chargali of classic of Georgian literature, poet and writer. At Vazha-Pshavela House Museum, pupils presented performances staged based on Vazha’s works and also read their poetries.
The School Theatre Festival, initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and dedicated to 100th anniversary of Vazha Pshavela’s death, was held in Juny of the current year. During the festival, pupils of Georgian public and private schools staged performances based on Vazha Pshavela’s works. The commission revealed three winner performances, which will be showed at Marjanishvili theatre.
Today, pupils have brought in Chargali those performances that were staged during the festival, but were played on the big stage. Many honored guests attended the event, including Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Lia Gigauri and Member of Parliament Anna Mirotadze.
Pupils from almost all parts of the country arrived in Chargali. At the end of day, all of them received special certificates from Vazha-Pshavela community.
