In regards to the 11th anniversary for founding the Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II-s International Charity Foundation, His Holiness Ilia II, met with the Foundation’s Supervisory Board members, its guardians, donors, and the winners of the grant competitions. During the event, certificates of appreciation were given to those organizations and individuals, who have made financial contributions towards the fund in recent years. The Ministry of Education and Science was amongst the awarded contributors, and its Minister – Tamar Sanikidze was awarded personally by the Patriarch.

The activity of the Patriarch’s fund is diverse, which includes multiple directions such as education, culture and science development. In this regard, the Foundation actively cooperates with the Ministry of Education, and carries out joint cognitive-intellectual competitions, conferences and seminars.
