With the organization of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, there was a public lecture/ presentation – “Energy in the 21st century” held by the Professor of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Agency – Dr. Roger Cashmore for the physics and mathematics high school students.
Roger Cashmore is also, the co-Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation.
Science Popularization and the promotion of "STEM" subjects is one of the priorities for the Ministry of Education and Science. In this regard, Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, implements several grant programs – “Leonardo Da Vinci”, which is a student researcher/inventor’s contest. Winners are mostly from the physics and mathematical schools, who also take part in the international contests and competitions. The development of STEM subjects in Georgia is the development of our country’s future.
