Within the scope of Georgia Primary Education Project (G-PriEd) there are 39 pilot programs launched across the countries schools, which implies teaching and enhancing students’ business skills for the students of I-VI grade. Director of the Georgia Primary Edeucation Project, Indira Amiranashvili, and the director of business skills development program Nicholas Chachkhiani visited the public school n. 64, where they got acqhuinted with the process.

The project aims to develop business related skills from an early age such as - economic, social, critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, leadership, planning, which lays the foundation for entrepreneurial skills and prepares students for the future active life. The project offers students a unique educational experience, with the result that they can better understand and perceive the business world.

The teachers, and tutors have been accordingly trained in order to provide impeccable lessons for the students.

Volunteers from the private sector play a key role in the successful implementation of this program. The volunteers make up the classrooms Service environment and conduct interactive lessons for the children, which motivates the students.

Volunteers from the private sector introduces the basic concepts of economics and finance, and helping them to solve problems creatively whilst strengthening their life skills.

The program is funded by the USAID, and is implemented for the public schools of Georgia.
