Owing to the funding of Millennium Challenge Account, full rehabilitation works have started in village Dzegvi, located in Mtskheta Municipality. All the fundamental works have been done, and at this stage there is a renovation processes in the classrooms and corridors. Soon the village will have an educational institution which will be in compliance with the European standards, where the students and the academic personnel will have all the necessary resources to provide quality education. In addition, the school will be fully adapted for the students with disabilities. The rehabilitation process was inspected by the Minister of Education and Science Ms. Tamar Sanikidze.
Under the funding of the Millennium Challenge Account ’s Second Compact, there are another 30 rural school who are planned to undergo a full renovation process, and it is planned to be completed by the new academic year. For the next four years, Millennium Challenge account plans to renovate 100 schools in various regions of Georgia.
