Applicants for the vocational education are being
registered across Georgia. Today, the First Deputy Minister of Education and
Science of Georgia –Ms. Ketevan Natriashvili got acquainted with the
registration process at Gldani vocational training center.
The
center provides the modern labour market with the highly qualified, and
competitive specialists in the various fields of industry. College developed all
levels of professional programs and a variety of short-term certificate
courses, also the infrastructure and human resources are customized to the
needs of modern business requirements.
It is
important to note that, “Gldani professional training center" continues to
introduce new projects at all times. A good example of this would be the newly opened
industrial laboratory, which allows the students to bring their innovative
ideas to reality of their own and acquire fresh knowledge. In this regard, the
College is actively cooperating with the private sector.
Moreover,
before opening the innovative industrial laboratory, the college administration
and teacher underwent a special training process. As for equipment, it is of
modern and unique nature: 3D printer, 3D scanner, software and laser-cutting
machinery, vacuum-packing devices drawing tablet, and etc. The exhibition of
all the products created at “Publab”, is scheduled for the first time on the
Independence Day. College is in active preparatory process, where teachers and
students are involved.
The Center
with 100% state funding, is carrying out 20 vocational education programs, whose
graduates will be issued with state diploma:
- cashier (bank, etc.);
- Heavy construction equipment
operator;
- Engine mechanic;
- Car electric technician;
- Car diagnosticians (II, III level);
- IT Specialist;
- Clothing Quality Management
Specialist;
- Textile products specialist;
- Sewing Machine Operator;
- Web-programming Specialist;
- Computer network and system
engineer;
- Office Manager (Secretary);
- Accountant (III, IV level);
- Computer graphics;
- Clothing artistic design specialist;
- Small business entrepreneur;
- Traffic Technician;
- Topographer
There are also eight new
modular educational programs implemented:
- Accountant,
(V stage);
- Web-programing
specialist, (V stage);
- IT
Support Specialist, (III level);
- Network
Administrator, (V stage);
- Cashier,
(III level);
- Bank
Cashier, (III level);
- Publishing technical designer, (III level);
- 3D graphics
specialist (A general), (IV stage).
During
the past year, the college has significantly increased the cooperation index
with the private sector, there are now over 100 Memoranda signed with the companies
in the field of communications, services, entenrpeneurship, construction, and
public research.
