“Iberia” - a vocational college based in Kutaisi, has now finished the renovation process for its vocational college branch in Baghdati. Imereti region now has one of the strongest vocational schools with a brand new building. The newly opened college, equipped with the latest technology and appliances was inspected by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Ms. Tamar Sanikidze.
The vocational college in Baghdati stopped functioning several years ago, and thus the inhabitants had significantly limited access to the vocational education. Owing to the Georgian government’s decision, the vocational college in Baghdati was revived, in conjunction with completely refurbishing the college infrastructure and equipping its workshops and laboratories with all the necessary appliances. The refurbishment process is currently ongoing to this day. In fact, outlets on the whole premises will be fully restored by the start of the next academic year.
