The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia –Ms. Tamar Sanikidze held a business meeting held in Pankisi Gorge. A meeting with Pankisi region public school principals, teachers and representastives is always exceptional for the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. It needs to be mentioned, that there is a significant relationship towards the teachers and students of this valley. There are numerous projects, that are being implemented due to the initiative of the Pankisi Gorge students, specifically the ones concerning the development of  infrastructure.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia officials often visit the valley and take a great interest with the current problems occuring there. During the meeting, Pankisi region public school representatives expressed their immense gratitude towards all the effort, that has been made for the development of the regional education in the valley. All of their questions was answered by the Minister and expressed support to resolve a number of imporant issues.
