Owing to the initiative of the Prime Minister, a new phase of the vocational education has begun. The German Federal Republic is a valued and crucial partner to support this transtional process. At this time, the President of Chamber of Commerce and Art of the city of Leipzig – Mr. Klaus Groen is visiting Georgia for a business trip, hosted by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

During the meeting hosted at the ministry, both parties discussed the enhancement of vocational education in Georgia, by sharing German experience in the matter, and an agreement of intent was signed with the Chamber of Commerce and art of the city of Leipzig, which entails the intensifying of cooperation between the two countries in terms of vocational education, as it serves the same interest.
