The representatives of Indonesian educatinonal field are in Georgia on a business meeting. Indonesia in educational circles. The Indonesian delegation was hosted by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science – Mr. George Sharvashidze and introduced the noveltvies in the Georgian educational system, as well as the current projects that are being implemented in the fields of higher education and science development.
In his speech, the Deputy Minister mentioned, that Georgia is a country participating in the Bologna process, which contributes to the universities being in compliance with the EU requirements and enables Georgian universitites to establish partnerships with the world's leading universities. Mr. George Sharvashidze, also spoke about the “Horizon 2020” project and emphasidzed the fruitfullness of the meeting which happened in Brussels 2 weeks ago, where the agreement was signed, implying the creation of the consortium with the partners. Additionally, the Deputy Minister also spoe about the upcoming Science week 2016.
The indonesian Delegation spoke about the educatinal system, and the ongoing projects in Indonesia, in conjunction with putting emphasis on the reputation of their State universities. They noted, that the universities in Indonedia is in great demand, therefore the competition increases on early basis.
