By the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science, platform which is open for everyone willing to participate in the processes related to the higher educational reform, quality enhancement, improving student life and so on…has been created. Second meeting of the platform happened today at the new dormitory built up by the government.

Students from various educational institutions attended the meeting were many interesting issues, such as academic freedom, autonomy of the university, creating better student life and others were discussed.

The deputy minister, Giorgi Sharvashidze also mentioned that the new team of high level experts will soon visit Georgia. Experts will work closely with the Georgian side and will get involved in an above mentioned activity; they will as well share the European experience. Platform will keep working on a continuing basis in a format of different regime.
