The Minister of Education and Science - Aleksandre Jejelava held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of Qatar - Mubarak Bin Naser Mubarak Al Khalifa. 

The sides discussed the enhancement of relations between the two countries in terms of education and science, as well as emphasizing the great importance of scholarships and exchange programs, through which the high quality of higher education and scientific research can be achieved. 

Moreover, The Ambassador expressed his great interest towards the education as a priority direction in Georgia. The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia shared his future visions in regards to the education reforms. In order to deepen the cooperation in the fields of education and research, Aleksandre Jejelava invited his Qatari counterpart - the Minister of Education to Georgia.
