The First Lady of Georgia, Sandra Reolofs, together with the Deputy Minister, Irine Kurdadze and the representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Georgia visited the exhibition, created by the schoolchildren of different nationalities. In the framework of the composition “We Present the Multilingual Georgia”, pictures, knit and embroidery workings, jewelries and etc. reflecting the traditions of different nationalities were exhibited.
The schoolchildren danced, sang songs as well as read the literature and told the poems in Russian, English, Hebrew, Ukrainian, Greek, Armenian and Azerbaijanian languages.
Tbilisi public school #72 is the multilingual educational institute. 739 schoolchildren study there. The school has following priorities: Integration of the schoolchidlren of different nationalities in Georgian society, forming the civic perception and teaching children the respect of the past of the country, history and cultural traditions.
The goal of intensified teaching of the state language and the successful program of tolerance, organized by the federation “Save the Children”, is to implement these goals.
The school intensively cooperates with the embassies, accredited to Georgia and Diasporas.
