The conclusive event “National Curricullum-Development and Implementation” was held. Within the framework of revising the National Curricullum for the years of 2017-2023, the Estonian experts from the “Inove” Fund of The Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia, provide consultations to the department in charge of developing the National Curriculum of Georgia. As it is known to the general public, a new initial step of the National Curriculum plan has already started (I-VI grades), whereas the base and secondary stages (VII-IX, X-XII grades) the plans are already designed and are ready to be tested.
The program is implemented with the support of the Estonian Government, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia and its fund “Innove”, partnered with the UNDP.
The deputy Minister of Education and Science – Lia Gigauri opened the event. The representatives of UNDP Georgia – Diana Durick, the Director of “Inove” Fund – Lea Orro, and the Ambassador of Estonia to Georgia Sven Sihvart, greeted the participants of the event.
Moreover, the head of the National Curriculum department – Natia Jokhadze, presented the conclusive results and discussed the following activities and events, which was held with the active and successful cooperation between Georgia and Estonia:
All the event participants outlined, that the cooperation between the countries was fruitful and interesting during these past three years. The cooperation with the Estonian partnerts will continue in the future.
