The future industrial innovation laboratory –FabLab Atsu, at Akaki Tsereteli State University announces the free school hackathon - “JUNIOR ATSUHACK“.
A school hackathon – is a marathon, in which groups of students from various schools compete with each other on working on new ideas and technologies.
The aim of the project: the implementation of school hackathon, which unifies students from all around Georgia, who can work on various software, developer, design and engineering projects. Additionally, the base and secondary stage students have the opportunity to display their IT skills, which will support their development as well as increasing their motivation.
Akaki Tsereteli State University in Kutaisi will aid the students in executing the above-mentioned event, as well as a group of volunteers who will provide mentorship at the FabLab Laboratory. Additionally, the teams have the opportunity to use the existing FabLab equipment and materialize their ideas – thus creating a product.
Expected results: Only the owners of special ideas and individuals with special IT skills and abilities will be able to participate in the hackathon. These students will be able to realize their ideas, thus increasing their motivation. Moreover, the invited speakers will hold masterclasses.
