The Millennium Challenge Account and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia have initiated development of the Operation and Management (O&M) project for public schools. The project will enable schools to care for infrastructure better, which is a necessary precondition for improvement of learning outcomes.

Inspection of the buildings of the public schools in Georgia have shown the lack of their operation and management system, which led to gradual deterioration of the condition of buildings. This is a huge obstacle for the educational system and it will be solved within the framework of this project.

Operation and Management (O&M) project of the public school is implemented within the framewok of the second 140 million USD Compact with the US Millennium Challenge Corporation.
