On the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia a cycle of large-scale meetings-seminars started at the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health for doctors of schools of Tbilisi and regions. Doctors got additional instruction at the meeting as to the role of the school doctor in ensuring healthy educational environment and introducing healthy lifestyle and the preventive measures to be taken by schools to protect schoolchildren from infections and reduce complications to a minimum.
