A scheduled working meeting of the National Vocational Education Council was held, attended by social partners and representatives of line Ministries. The meeting was led by Aleksandre Jejelava, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia.

Important issues discussed at the meeting included: terms and ways for recognition of nonformal vocational education (draft); conception for development of sectoral councils (draft); the issue of forming new thematic working groups; plan for meetings of National Vocational Council scheduled for the course of the current year.

The work of National Vocational Council will also be actively continued further, as ensuring involvement of social partners in the process of defining Vocational Education policy is seen as a priority issue by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
