A cycle of trainings was launched for schoolchildren, teachers and for the first time for school psychologists and parents against bullying aiming to provide comprehensive information to target groups as to what should be done to eliminate and prevent violence in adolescents.

At the first stage supervising teachers of specific schools were retrained by employees of Psychological Center of the Ministry of Education and Science. Simultaneously the rest of the target group representatives also joined the trainings. They get comprehensive information about bullying and its prevention. Today Deputy Minister Lia Gigauri attended training to up to 50 supervising teachers of Tbilisi Public School N 51 and got familiar with the process of the training.   

The trainings are held within the framework of project “Identification and prevention of violent and destructive behaviour” and its main topics are:

• Communication psychology 
• Behavioural and emotional problems of children of school age and adolescents and strategies of effective response
• Violence, mental health, destructive behaviour, aggression, self-injury, suicidal disposition

The training aims to enable identification of the signs of violent, destructive and self-destructive behaviour, timely and effective response and prevention.
