The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, together with the National Federation of Funny Starts is implementing the project “Funny Lessons about Nutrition” within the framework of the global program “Healthy Children”. The aim of the project is to promote introduction of healthy lifestyle in the children of school age, to popularize the importance of healthy nutrition, hygiene, physical activity, etc. 

The material developed within the project will be distributed among all beneficiaries free of charge, namely: the textbooks for pupils of II and III grades, including lessons, quizzes and exercises about healthy lifestyle; methodical guidelines for the mentors of II and III grades, including information about the lessons and quizzes; as well as visual, cognitive material will be delivered to parents.

The project stipulates annual trainings for teachers, monitoring of program progress, small scale research for assessment of the level of knowledge of pupils and parents about the principles of healthy lifestyle.
