By the virtue of Tbilisi N23 public school, the very first conference of French Language was organized in Tbilisi, opened by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Lia Gigauri, the Ambassador of France to Georgia - Pascal Menier and the Minister of Justice - Tea Tsulukiani.

Mikheil Chkhenkeli - the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia organized a meeting of the Rector's Council, where he discussed the issues related to higher education with the heads of state and private institutions.

The National English Spelling Competition was held at Tbilisi State University. The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Ketevan Natriashvili and a Rector of Tbilisi State University - Giorgi Sharvashidze opened the event.

Several large-scale renovation works have been implemented in Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University recently. With the financial support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Adjara, the Technical Education faculty of the University has been fully rehabilitated and equipped with modern apparatus.

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University will now have a three-story building complex in compliance with modern standards. There are more than two million GEL envisaged for the construction expenses. The building will have three floors, where modern study rooms, cabinet-labs, and conference halls will be located. Additionally, the building will fully be adapted to the people with disabilities. Most importantly, a modern safety norm will be designed to protect the building and keep it safe for maintaining. The new campus will be put in operation in December 2018.

First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Ketevan Natriashvili, Executive Director of Millennium Challenge Fund - Magda Maghradze and the Director of the Millennium Challenge Corporation Georgia - Jener Edelman, conducted a summary conference on the technical assistance for the Millennium Challenge project - Professional Education for Economic Development.

Within the scope of the "Reformer" project, a public evaluation of vocational education reform was held, which was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Ketevan Natriashvili.

The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Ketevan Natriashvili, with the support of the European Education Fund (ETF), hosted the EU Delegation.

Memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the Embassy of the Republic of France in Georgia, Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and the French Institute of Cooperation in Georgia.

The Final Meeting of the joint educational project – “Olympism” organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the National Olympic Committee of Georgia  was held.

The representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and various sports organizations held an informative meeting with the teachers and school parents today, in order to organize excursion / hiking activities involving students, teachers and parents.
