At today’s event organized at the Ministry of Education and Science of
Georgia Minister Dimitri Shashkini awarded only 231 schoolchildren with
Golden Medals. During 2010-2011 academic year, overall 877
schoolchildren were awarded with Golden Medals and 1122 schoolchildren
with Silver Medals.

fulltime positions of certified teachers and states that according to the
Decree # 576 of the Minister, school administrations are obliged to provide
fulltime positions to all certifies teachers. Copy of this Decree was sent to
every Public School of Georgia.
