Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini introduced three-person group of the Resource Officers at Rustavi Public School №21. In parallel with this school, Resource Officers launched their activities in the schools №1, №2, №3, №4, №5, №6, №7, №8 and №9. They will enter in all schools of Rustavi step by step.

3 teachers were awarded with prizes for the given best lessons through the netbook. MES and National Center for Teacher Professional Development announced competition of the best lesson for the class tutors being involved in the pilot program Netbooks for the First Graders.

The schoolchildren of the Public School №55 held a match in Volleyball. The 8th graders participated in the final match. The competition is held in the scope of sports lessons. The football and basketball leagues also function at the school, where children actively participate in these kinds of sports.

Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Irine Kurdadze attended the seminar of the dance class teachers. 50 teachers, who were selected via the competition, will teach Georgian dances in the pilot schools of Tbilisi after the seminars.
