In the scope of the President’s project on the popularization of sports, internal school competition in basketball  was held at Tbilisi Public School №22, among the teams of the school. First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Koka Sepherteladze attended the final game. Young sportsmen were supported by the guests and the schoolchildren.

The competition was held between 8^th and 9^th graders. The winner team was awarded with the Cup and certificates. The best player of the team was presented with the personal computer by Koka Sepherteladze. All participants were awarded with certificates as well.

The competition was held in the rehabilitated gym of the school. It was renovated and equipped in the scope of the program ALUMNI initiated by MES. The sum was transferred there by the successful graduates and teachers of the school.

Around 1,000 schoolchildren study in Tbilisi Public School №22. All innovations of MES are successfully implemented at school, among them is the development of the sports classes. The schoolchildren are engaged in the school competitions. Professional programs – cookery for the girls and joiner’s work for the boys are carried out at school.
