The official reception of the President of Ukraine and delegation of Ukraine was held at the Palace of the President of Georgia, within the framework of which the agreement on cooperation in the field of education and science was signed between the Government of Georgia and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The memorandum was signed by Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Education and Science Aleksandre Jejelava on behalf of the Government of Georgia and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin on behalf of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

At the joint press conference of the Presidents, Petro Poroshenko, together with other issues, has emphasized cooperation between the countries in field of science and mentioned, that sharing of reforms held in Georgia in the field of education and science is very important for Ukraine.
