The military base is one of the locations in the village of Manavi, which will host more than 1,000 students within the summer school program "Let’s relax and learn together". At this stage, the third stream of young people in the camp passes a weekly cognitive / entertaining program. Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Education and Science Aleksandre Jejelava and the Minister of Defense of Georgia Levan Izoria visited the camp. The members of the government got acquainted with the activities of the teenagers and their living conditions. Later, Aleksandre Jejelava and Levan Izoria had a dinner together with the teenagers. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Revaz Javelidze and Head of Children and Youth National Center Giga Gabelaia.
According to a one-week program in the camp, one day is dedicated to a military theme. The military servants of Eastern Command of the Land Troops of the Armed Forces of Georgia are giving information to schoolchildren about the Armed Forces of Georgia. The military servicemen of Georgia are aware of the skills of self-surviving in extreme situations. In addition, the program includes a number of cognitive and fun topics in different areas.
The Summer Schools Program is implemented by Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia together with the Ministry of Defense and Sports and Youth.
