The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia together with the Innovation and Technology Agency continues to support development of vocational education skills in the field of entrepreneurship and innovative teaching. For this purpose, a Startup Booster was organized, which implies a one-week intensive training in professional education "Hackathon" to support winning students to improve their innovative products, develop appropriate business model, seek investor and turn an idea into a real business. Thirty students are participating in training throughout Georgia from operating state vocational institutions: "Aisi", "Spectrum", "Mermisi", "Akhali Talgha", "Black Sea", "Opizari", "Emisi", " Modusi” "and "Lakada ".
First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Ketevan Natriashvili noted that innovation, the best ideas, the ability to use modern technologies, is the main purpose of development of the vocational education system and the students themselves. The students told that such trainings are important for establishing the necessary contacts and the expansion of vision.
