The
winners of the National Training Olympiads and Informatics Tournament were
awarded. The students were awarded by Deputy Minister of Education and Science
of Georgia Lia Gigauri, MPs: Mariam Jashi, Genadi Margvelashvili and Levan
Gogichaishvili.
The
National Training Olympiad is held annually, with participation of about
100,000 pupils at average rate. This year, 124 winning pupils were revealed. In
accordance with the obtained places, pupils were awarded with the gift cards
and diplomas of computer technique and accessories of 1000, 700, 500 and 50
GEL. Also, the Certificates of Gratitude were awarded to 36 successful schools
identified by the ratings.
It
is important to note that candidates for the national team teams were selected
from these successful pupils in order to participate in the International
Training Olympiads of Physics, Mathematics, Informatics, Chemistry and Biology.
The Ministry has fully provided them with additional training and participation
in international Olympiads. This year, pupils returned from International
Olympiads with one golden, 4 silver and 9 bronze medals and one Certificate of
Gratitude. It is worth mentioning that Georgian pupils have competed with more
than 100 successful pupils, which is the result of their high level training in
Georgia.
