Publishing the results of Alumni Club – the club of successful graduates, initiated by the president is underway. In the framework of this project, the Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini and the Minister of Sport, Monument Protection and Culture, Nikoloz Rurua visited Telavi public school №1 and introduced the results of Alumni. They also met with the teachers, schoolchildren and the graduates.

The school principal, Svimon Okhanashvili introduced the planned activities to the society. These activities will be implemented by the financial support of the graduates. Some merited and successful   teachers were awarded with the prizes from this fund. The foreign language class-room will be refurbished and equipped with the modern techniques with the certain amount of money.

Telavi public school №1 is 250 years old. It was fully rehabilitated in 2006-2007, in the framework of the project “Iakob Gogebashvili”. Around 900 schoolchildren study and 90 teachers work there. The graduates from this school successfully pass the Unified Entry Exams. They participate in the school Olympiads and different competitions. Current year, 6 schoolchildren are the candidates of the golden medals and 9 – of the silver medals.
