Cooperation between the National Center for Children and Youth of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia with the Crime Prevention Center of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia continues fruitfully.
The overall aim of the cooperation is to share the experience with the youth and plan joint activities. Within the scope of the program, unique programs are being designed for the beneficiaries of the first and second level, as well as to the individuals involved in the diversion and mediation programs. Moreover, the platform entails supplying former prisoners with the necessary skills to recover and re-socialize into the society.
The head of the Children and Youth National Center - Giga Gabelaia and Director of Crime Prevention Center Tatia Khocholava signed a Memorandum of cooperation.
The two parties already have an extensive history of cooperation. In the past years, approximately 50 students were vacationing in the Anaklia “Future Camps”. From now on, the camps will be open to those who benefit from the activities of the Crime Prevention Center.
