Mikheil Batiashvili – the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia together with the First Deputy Minister - Mikheil Giorgadze met with heads of art and sports educational institutions.

The Minister talked about the problems and challenges in the arts and sports education sector. During the meeting, Mikheil Batiashvili stated, that it is necessary to develop a unified vision and create an effective model of a healthy education system for more rapid advancement.

The Minister emphasized the need for a high involvement of field specialists in these processes and urged the directors of the higher education institutions and school arts colleges to be more active in this regard.

According to Mikheil Batiashvili, the process will be vastly open and transparent, and in the shortest possible time, effective steps will be made in order to use our resources as efficiently as possible.
