The Prime Minister of Georgia - Mamuka Bakhtadze opened the working meeting of COMET International Cooperation at Georgian Technical University.
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Mikheil Batiashvili addressed the attending audience and emphasized that today without the development modern technologies it is impossible to achieve economic and other kinds of progression in Georgia.
According to him, the Ministry actively supports Georgian Technical’s participation in the COMET experiment and expresses hope that there will be a lot of similar scientific projects and cooperations in the future.
Outside of Japan, COMET International Cooperation work meetings are regularly conducted. This year's workshop, which is very important in international scientific terms, is hosted by the Georgian Technical University on October 1-5.
