In 2015, an archaeological expedition of the Tbilisi State University found a peculiar inscription on the Grakliani hill, an estimated inscription dates back to the 7th century BCE.
With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia and initiated by the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation, archaeological museum reserve was built on the Archaeological Museum of Grakliani.
Development of the exhibition concept of the materials found in the excavations and arrangement of the infrastructure of the adjacent areas is underway.
