Deputy Minister of Education,
Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Irina Abuladze opened the sub-program
summarizing conference with "Social Inclusion" and awarded teachers
with various diplomas.
At the conference, the
results of 16 projects financed by the program were offered with the presentation
topics on the history, life and culture of Roma and Meskhetians living in
Georgia, in cooperation with subprogram beneficiaries and volunteers.
It is important that the
participants and guests of the conference were able to get familiarized with
handmade items that were prepared by pupils and volunteers who have special
educational needs.
It should be emphasized that
similar activities carried out by the Ministry facilitate the availability of
quality education in Roma and Meskhi juveniles and improving the state language
skills in them, in conjunction with increasing the tolerance towards them in
the Georgian society.
It should be noted that this program meets the
Government Strategy of Civil Equality and Integration, approved by the Decree
No. 1740 of the Government of Georgia on August 17, 2015 and 2015-2020. Action
