For the first time in Georgia, a new
educational resource "Learn Georgian by the Audio Lessons" was
created by the Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration, in collaboration
with UNHCR. Presentation of the project was held at the Ministry of Education,
Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia today.
The CompactDisc features 12 audiographical
lessons and relevant illustrations. This particular Educational resource will
be extremely handy for the individuals who are under international protection
or asylum status. Also the non-citizens who have the UNHCR mandate will be
assisted in the adoption of basic knowledge of the Georgian language, which
facilitates their integration into the Georgian society.
These audio records will be available on
the web. In particular, is will be posted on the official website of the school
- www.zspa.ge and UNHCR's partner web sites. Those who are interested in
learning the language, they will be able to do so free of charge. Foreign
citizens who want to study Georgian language will also be able to enjoy online
version.
