Natia Zedginidze, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, together with the Head of Infrastructure Development Agency - Zviad Rostomashvili and local self-government representatives, opened yet another public school in Martvili municipality village Nabegerao.

The modern, vitreous school building is designed for 120 students. The overall project construction cost amounted to about three million GEL. The school has an acoustic ceiling, a vinyl floor, which is sustainable and easy to maintain. Additionally, the hall is aimed to seat 100 spectators and has the capacity to accomodate handball, volleyball basketball and soccer championships. The school is equipped with laboratories and modern school inventory as well.

According to the school principal, construction of the building was fully performed by the rural population.

The old building of the school was functioning in a non-standard wooden building since 1908 and since its opening, the building has never been renovated. Disrupted school infrastructure has led to public outflow from the public schools. But, after the opening of the new school, students of Nabegerao will return to their village and continue their studies in a new, European-grade school.
