"We need to increase the staff who will be employed and not the ones who will receive the paper diploma," stated Mikheil Batiashvili, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia today during his interview.
According to the minister, there is a great interest from the private sector, to implement a variety of vocational programs that will fill the staff deficit in certain areas. It is possible to eliminate this systemic flaw in close cooperation with the private sector.
As Mikheil Batiashvili said, innovations and modern technologies will be actively introduced in the educational process. A number of equipped EXCELLENT centers will be created where future professions will be available. Vocational colleges should be able to enroll young people with the knowledge and skills needed to overcome the obstacles in XXI, in conjunction with creating employees competent in both local and international markets.
