With the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, seminars are being conducted to train and improve the professional skills of teachers of physical education and sport in different regions throughout the country.

The practical and theoretical workshops for sports teachers were held at Gori Public School.
It should be noted that at the first stage of the project, the Ministry organized a 3-day seminar for sports teachers working in different regions.

About 60 teachers of Physical Education and Sport of 48 educational resource centers of the region participated in the seminar, which will deliver knowledge to sports teachers working in the region.

The purpose of the ongoing trainings in Tbilisi and regions is to enhance the project "Strengthening Physical Education and Sport Training" and the future expansion is to be implemented in order to introduce a new, revised National Curriculum.
