Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini and General Director of Medical Insurance Group “Archimedes Global Georgia” Nikoloz Ramishvili attended the opening ceremony of the medical aid station in Public School №55 that is in compliance with modern standards. New program envisages refurbishing medical aid stations at schools in order to provide the school children with first aid if needed. This program will be piloted in several schools of Tbilisi and it will be introduced in all schools from the next academic year.
Medical Insurance Group “Archimedes Global Georgia” refurbished medical aid station at public school №55, equipped it with modern technique and supported with drugs. Doctors who will work at schools will be paid by the company. This company will support the medical aid stations with drugs in the future as well.
Guards, together with the doctors will care for the school children’s health from the next academic year. In the framework of an agreement that was signed with Tbilisi State Medical University, all guards will be retrained in order to provide the school children with first aid as well as prevent conflicts and crime at schools. This initiative finalizes the program that is implemented in the scope of Safe School.
