August 11, Prime Minister of Georgia - Mamuka Bakhtadze and Minister of
Education, Science, Culture and Sport -
Mikheil Batiashvili attended the match of Georgia-Romania , a U-17 Water Polo
Championship held in Tbilisi, and later attended the official opening ceremony
of the European Championship. Say you applied.
Georgian
U-17 team coached by Soso Maisuradze won an important victory over Romanians
with a score of 12:10. The match was tense and the winner was revealed at the
last minute. Our team had the advantage during the whole match and won 4 goals
in the second period.
Today,
the Georgian team will face Montenegro, which is a much stronger team.
The European Championship, featuring the strongest 16 teams from Europe, will
continue until August 18 at the Olympic swimming pool in Tbilisi. Georgia's
rivals in Group B are Montenegro, Slovakia and Romania.
