On October 9-10, 2019, DVV International Georgia organized a consulting seminar on "Adult Education Policy and Development of Adult Education Strategy in Georgia".
sThe seminar was led by Dr. Herbert Hinzen, Professor of Adult Education, who was invited to chair the seminar. The seminar was attended by representatives of the Vocational Education Development Department of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, LEPL National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement and various vocational education institutions.
Dr. Herbert briefed the participants on the best practices in adult education in Europe, and presented successful examples of the adult education system. Additionally, within the framework of the seminar, ideas were generated on the main goals of the Adult Education Strategy in Georgia, in conjunction with identifying prospects for further development of the Adult Education System.
