Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Tamar Kitiashvili discussed the prospects of development of vocational education in the field of mountain tourism and joint future projects with Gerhard Schaumberger, head of the Tbilisi office of the Austrian Development Agency.
During the meeting they also discussed the current situation in the field of vocational education. The Deputy Minister briefed the representatives of the Austrian Development Agency on the planned and ongoing innovations within the scope of the current reform and noted that the development of vocational education and bringing it closer to international standards is one of the top priorities of the country. In this process, assistance from the Austrian Development Agency is crucial.
