The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement has launched large-scale measures to support the introduction of new standards for the authorization of vocational education institutions, many of which will be implemented within the scope of the agreement between the Center and UNDP.
Recent changes to the authorization provision of educational institutions have enabled colleges to gain the right to pursue vocational programs that integrate full-time secondary education outcomes. As a result, colleges will be allowed to issue a diploma equivalent to a full general education certificate.
It is precisely the issues of integrating the general education component into the vocational education that will be addressed by the Deputy Director of the Center, Kakhaber Eradze, for the representatives of private and public colleges. The first working visit is hosted by Ikarus College.
